Oticon Zircon 1 Hearing Aids

Launched in March 2022 on the Polaris platform, Oticon expanded its hearing aid range by introducing Zircon 1 and Zircon 2, a new essential hearing aid family. Zircon 1 incorporates some of Oticon More's popular technology, such as BrainHearing technology and the open sound experience powered by the OpenSound Navigator.

Zircon provides vital data to help the brain better interpret the sounds heard, resulting in a balanced 360-degree speech experience in all environments.

It is worth noting this range effectively supersedes the Ruby range. However, individuals with severe to profound hearing loss requiring a powerful hearing aid would still need to consider Ruby's SP hearing solution, as Zircon does not currently offer this option.

Utilising OpenSound Navigator, Speech Guard, and Supershield, Oticon Zircon 1 hearing aids deliver a premium sound experience, even in challenging environments. Available in rechargeable options with Bluetooth technology offering connectivity options, the MyMusic program included in the Zircon 1 hearing aids also provides users with a premium music experience. Additionally, 2-way streaming capabilities enable hands-free calls and videos using iPhone devices and direct streaming with select Android devices.

(Compatibility with the ASHA protocol allows for direct streaming on supporting Android devices without the need for additional accessories. It is advisable to consult with an audiologist regarding compatibility with smartphones and other devices.)

Oticon Zircon 1 comes in BTE and RIC styles with two new miniBTE hearing aids designed for those seeking a discreet behind-the-ear device option.

Oticon Zircon 1 hearing aids also come in two rechargeable models (miniRIC R and miniBTE R) and two traditional battery models (miniRIC T and miniBTE T).

The available colour choices in this hearing aid range include Chroma Beige, Silver Grey, Steel Grey, Chestnut Brown, and Diamond Black. Durable and stylish, these hearing aids are IP68 certified, demonstrating excellent resistance to dust and moisture.
