Introduction to Phonak Audeo Life P30 Hearing Aids

In May 2022, Phonak launched its Audeo Life range, celebrated for its durability, exceptional sound quality, and innovative features. This range offers the world's very first waterproof rechargeable hearing aids in the industry. We believe these hearing aids will quickly become favourites among active individuals and frequent travellers.

Although the P30 serves as the entry-level model within this series it still offers a range of essential features aimed at enhancing hearing across different environments.

Key features of the Phonak Audeo Life P30 hearing aids:

• Water-resistant and Sweatproof - The Audeo Life series, including the P30, is built to be water-resistant, making it an excellent option for active users who may encounter moisture or sweat.

• Rechargeable Battery - The P30 is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, offering convenience and removing the need for disposable batteries.

• Sound Performance - Although the P30 model does not include some premium features found in higher-tier options, it still delivers satisfactory sound performance, especially in everyday listening situations.

• Bluetooth Connectivity - In line with other Audeo Life models, the P30 supports Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to stream audio directly from their phones, TVs, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

• Adaptive Features - This hearing aid incorporates some adaptive sound processing to automatically adjust to various listening environments, although these features are more limited compared to the higher-end models like the P90 or P70.

Here are a few features that you miss when comparing the Audeo Life P30 hearing aids to the P90:

• Comfort in Echo:  Recognising the reverberation frequencies and offering the correct gain reduction with less distortion - so your speech will become more comfortable.

• Speech in Car:  Reducing broadband noise in your car to offer a more stable listening experience and improved communication as well as reduced listening effort.

• Speech in Loud Noise:  Focusing on the speech in front of you, the narrow beamformer provides an increase in speech intelligibility and listening comfort in a noisy environment.

• Dynamic Noise Cancellation: A suppression system that gives you better noise reduction in challenging environments, which you can manage through the app or leave set at automatic. There is also a signal-to-noise ratio 4dB boost when needed.  This is ideal if you need a boost in difficult environments, so your hearing aids would assist you more effectively.

• Speech Enhancer:   Ensuring your hearing aids react quicker to the complexities of loud sounds as well as providing more comfort - assisting those who find it challenging to hear soft speech.

• EchoBlock:  Improving listening experience in reverberant environments like conferences.

• Tap Control:  This is only available with the P90.

• Speech in 360 degrees:  This automatically improves speech intelligibility by determining the direction of speech without the need to face the speaker.
