The Phonak Audeo Life P70 hearing aids belong to the "Audeo Life" series by Phonak, recognised for its waterproof, rechargeable, and durable design. The "P70" label signifies that it is an advanced-range model within the Phonak Paradise platform, striking a balance between advanced features and affordability when compared to premium models such as the P90.

Although the P70 serves as the advanced-level model within this series it still offers a range of essential features aimed at enhancing hearing across different environments.

Key features of the Phonak Audeo Life P50 hearing aids:

• Rechargeable Battery - Comes with a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery, offering a full day of hearing after a charge. It includes an inductive charger.

• Water-Resistant - Designed to withstand water exposure, sweat, and dust with an IP68 rating, making it suitable for an active lifestyle. It also means it’s resistant to dust and can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, making it ideal for people who want their hearing aids to withstand humidity, sweat, or even occasional immersion.

• Speech Enhancer - Amplifies soft speech, making conversations easier in quiet settings.

• AutoSense OS 4.0 - The P70 comes with AutoSense OS 4.0, which automatically adjusts settings based on the environment to deliver clear, balanced sound. This system can recognise and adapt to different listening environments like quiet rooms, noisy places, or music venues.

• Bluetooth Connectivity – These hearing aids connect to various Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and TVs. It supports direct streaming from iOS and Android devices.

Here are a few features that you miss when you compare the Life P70 to the P90 hearing aids:

• Comfort in Echo: Recognising the reverberation frequencies and offering the correct gain reduction with less distortion - so your speech will become more comfortable.

• Speech in Car: Reducing broadband noise in your car to offer a more stable listening experience and improved communication as well as reduced listening effort.

• Speech in Loud Noise: Focusing on the speech in front of you, the narrow beamformer provides an increase in speech intelligibility and listening comfort in a noisy environment.

• Dynamic Noise Cancellation: A suppression system that gives you better noise reduction in challenging environments, which you can manage through the app or leave set at automatic. There is also a signal-to-noise ratio 4dB boost when needed.  This is ideal if you need a boost in difficult environments, so your hearing aids would assist you more effectively.

• Speech Enhancer:  Ensuring your hearing aids react quicker to the complexities of loud sounds as well as providing more comfort - assisting those who find it challenging to hear soft speech.

• EchoBlock: Improving listening experience in reverberant environments like conferences.

• Tap Control: This is only available with the P90.
